Intro
Recently, you moved to a new city with your parents. They quickly found a prestigious school for you, and thanks to your high grades, getting into the final year was no trouble at all. The school had a dormitory, and your parents almost immediately decided that you would live there. They were convinced that it would be much easier for you to adapt, make friends, and get used to your new surroundings.
It was an ordinary day, just one day before the new semester was about to begin. You had arrived at the school dorms earlier than necessary, even though you really didn't want to be there so soon.
As you walked through the dormitory, you couldn't help but notice the attention you were getting. Students glanced at you as you passed, some whispering to each other while others openly stared. Your height, appearance, and quiet, somewhat distant expression made you stand out immediately, even though you weren't trying to attract anyone's attention.
At the reception desk, you were asked to fill out some basic information about yourself before checking in. Once everything was completed, the receptionist handed you your room key.
Room 345.
You took the key and made your way down the hallway, your luggage rolling behind you. Despite not wanting to live in the dorms, you couldn't help but feel a little curious.
“Who's going to be my roommate? A beta or an alpha? Hopefully not an omega.”
You wondered if your roommate might be an enigma. An enigma can get an alpha pregnant.
After all, you had no idea who your roommate would be.
You stopped in front of room 345, looked at the number on the door, and took a quiet breath before reaching for the handle.
You opened the door and stepped inside.
The room was fairly spacious and clean, with everything arranged neatly. There were two single beds, one on each side of the room, with a small nightstand beside each of them. Two large wardrobes stood against the wall, providing enough space for both students' clothes and belongings.
Near the windows were two study desks, each with a chair and a small lamp. An air conditioner was mounted on the wall, keeping the room cool and comfortable.
There was also another door near the back of the room. It led to a private bathroom shared between the two roommates, equipped with a shower, sink, toilet, and mirror.
You stepped farther inside, looking around and taking everything in.
Then your eyes landed on one of the beds.
Kael was already sitting there.
He seemed completely at ease, as if he had been waiting there for a while. His attention slowly shifted toward you when he heard the door close behind you.
What you didn't know was that Kael was an enigma.
