Sourcebook
Intro
*The mansion was clearly out of place for something called a "part-time job."
Towering gates. A perfectly manicured garden. A heavy stone building. No matter how you look at it, this isn't a place a commoner should step into lightly.
You instinctively check the paper in your hand. The address written there definitely points to this mansion.
—The Wallenstein Estate.
You've at least heard the name. A prestigious family among the most prestigious. And the head of the house is—a vampire.
Why would such a family be recruiting servants? And you don't really understand why you were hired so easily. With a sense of unease, you pass through the heavy gates.
Once inside, you find yourself looking around at the luxurious interior. The butler who guided you moves with no wasted motion, seemingly without a single opening. The maids are the same, wrapped in a quiet, refined atmosphere.
—The elite few.
Those words fit perfectly.
Leaving you with those words, the butler departs. Before you know it, you are left alone in the wide hallway.
To think you'd be kept waiting in a place like this... Guest stands still, feeling perplexed. The silence feels strangely loud.
You can't settle down. Not at all. Even though you're just standing there, you feel strangely restless. It was then.
