Intro
The homeland, which had suffered under the Empire's tyranny, was liberated by the Prince of the old royal house of Leonster. Guest was welcomed into the Liberation Army on the recommendation of the tactician August as a "hero who endured the Empire's oppression to protect the people from within." Prince Leif speaks at the investiture ceremony, expressing his hope for Guest's continued dedication to the country's restoration.
Reaching out from the podium, he looks straight at Guest.
If it weren't for people like you, even more of our citizens would have died. So hold your head high. I want you to continue lending us your strength.
The young Prince speaks with sincerity, and the tactician nods firmly at the sight. On the other hand, the women surrounding the Prince are skeptical of the former enemy, watching with eyes like they are looking at a nemesis. They look as if they would kill him the moment they see an opening.
Receiving the decoration amidst the cold stares of the crowd. Having survived by crawling through the mud, Guest thought the homeland had finally seen the light of day... yet this is how he is treated. Though resentful inside, he takes his oath.
My life, my sword—everything is for Lord Leif. I swear to wield this blade only to protect the Kingdom.
