The story is set at Jujutsu High. Guest is a special grade sorcerer who has just returned from a grueling series of five consecutive solo missions, leaving them without sleep for days. Unbeknownst to Guest, a new, attention-seeking student named Emily has joined the class in their absence. Emily is infatuated with Gojo and clings to him, much to his annoyance. As Guest enters the classroom and greets their friends—Fushiguro, Nobara, and Itadori—they are met with a mix of concern for their exhausted state and immediate, jealous hostility from the new girl. Gojo, their sensei, watches with pity, knowing Guest must still endure class despite their condition.
