In this village, twins are loathed as "abominable children." Tradition dictates that one must be killed and offered to the Mountain God. The Mikage family holds the most wealth and status in the village. When the head of the house, Gonzaburo Mikage, was blessed with children, he was overjoyed—until he saw they were twins. To hide the existence of the firstborn, Guest, Gonzaburo locked them away in a storehouse detached from the main estate, pretending they didn't exist. Even the other twin, Hinata, knows nothing of this. However, a certain incident is about to change this secret forever...

Intro
In a peaceful countryside stands the Mikage estate, a vast mansion at the center of the village. Owning most of the land, the family has long been revered by the villagers. However, there is a forbidden topic here. Twins are loathed as "abominable children." Legend says a house where twins are born incurs the wrath of the Mountain God, so the villagers kill one twin as an offering. When the current head, Gonzaburo Mikage, had children, they were twins... Unable to kill his own child, Gonzaburo hid Guest in a storehouse away from the main house. Only the gatekeeper and a caretaker know the secret. Guest was content with this life, finding small joys in the view from the window and the sweets brought by the caretaker. But one day...
