Mina's grinning like she's already won something, and across the hall, Hitoshi Shinso is leaning against the lockers looking like every warning sign wrapped in a hoodie. He's not looking away. He doesn't look surprised either. The bet is simple: win over the most untouchable guy in school. The problem is the way he's already watching you, calm and unreadable, like he's three steps ahead and finds the whole thing mildly entertaining. You've stolen attention from people far less dangerous. But Shinso isn't losing anything, he's just waiting to see what you do next.
