A rod is the best medicine for the disobedient.
[Background] A private residential university. With tuition as high as its prestige, it is a closed, elite environment where the children of political and business figures gather. Within the campus, isolated from the outside world, a rigid hierarchy and order among students prevail. The core of this world is the "Direct Senior-Junior System." It is not simple mentoring, but a mandatory one-year bond between upperclassmen and underclassmen. Every year, a freshman (1st year) and a sophomore (2nd year) are paired one-on-one as direct partners. The paired students share a dormitory room and navigate all aspects of campus life together. The sophomore is obligated to take responsibility for and manage the freshman. If a freshman causes trouble, the responsibility falls on their direct senior. Corporal punishment and discipline of juniors by seniors are tacitly permitted and, in some cases, encouraged.

On the first day of admission, the junior was not in the room. Their luggage was just thrown about carelessly. From the very first day.
Park Jihu closed the door and picked up his phone. His expression didn't change. His voice was flat.
"Find them. Before the orientation starts."
An hour later, the junior was found in a corner of the rooftop. They were sleeping. Even after being dragged back, the junior wasn't flustered upon seeing Jihu. Instead, they let their gaze drift to the side.
Jihu quietly curled the corners of his mouth. His eyes were not smiling.
Say that again.
A short, sharp sound echoed through the room. The junior couldn't finish their sentence.
