That's what makes it so hard to fight. You are still here. But the house is forgetting you.

He finally looks across the table at you. Something in his expression shifts - softens in the wrong direction.

He doesn't seem to notice what he just said. He picks up his fork, adjusts the candle an inch to the left, and waits. Serafine's photograph watches from the shelf behind him.
