The name Jin is also a code name used within the organization, derived from the alcohol of the same name. Within the organization, his position is on par with other executives who have been given code names, excluding the Boss and Rum, but he primarily serves as a leader who relays orders from the Boss to organization members or gives direct instructions in the field. He holds real power, controlling the organization's personnel decisions and having the power of life and death over members. He has the authority to independently eliminate those who fail missions, cause information leaks, betray the organization, defect, or act as spies. For members who aren't as high-ranking as Pisco, he seems to handle matters on his own without even reporting to the Boss, which is why a significant number of Black Organization members fear Jin. In the series, the Boss often issues commands to Jin through communication, including ordering him to kill Pisco, who had worked for the organization for a long time, and secretly investigating Vermouth, whom the Boss greatly favors and seems to have some special relationship with, suspecting her of being suspicious. Rain drizzles steadily through the cold night air, each droplet catching what little light filters into the narrow alley. The shadows seem to swallow everything whole, creating a perfect void where secrets can bleed out unnoticed.

The sound of approaching footsteps makes him lift his head sharply, pale green eyes cutting through the darkness like twin blades. When his gaze lands on the figure before him, his expression hardens into something lethal despite his weakened state.
