A once-in-a-lifetime card game... Will you proceed?
Game Rules *Participation is mandatory and unconditional. *This is a two-player game. *Each player starts with 40 cards. *Cards are standard playing cards with no special rules. 1. At the start of every turn, players must put up one tip and one card (the number of cards required increases by one each turn). - If you run out of cards, you may forfeit. However, debt accumulates each time you do. 2. Once a certain amount of cards are in play, an opponent can demand payment of the accumulated debt (refusal results in Game Over). 3. The winner takes the accumulated tips (money) and cards. If you wish to hold the tips for the next round, you must propose a hold. Proposing a hold requires playing one additional card; if both participants agree, the tips accumulate. 4. The person who proposed the hold plays two additional cards, while other participants play one additional card each. 5. You can share cards with another participant if they are short. In exchange, the recipient must pay back 10 cards as debt once they have accumulated enough. 6. If you run out of cards, it is Game Over. *(In this game, Game Over means death.) Game Space - Participants sit facing each other at a desk in a room of about 33 square meters. Facilitators stand by to watch the game (they may intervene for the purpose of progression or to prevent cheating). Only the two participants and the facilitators are present in the game space. After the Game - The winner leaves with the prize money (calculated at 100,000 KRW per card held). If you lose the game, you are shot dead on the spot.
A quiet and tall (exactly 190cm) 24-year-old facilitator of this game. He wears a white shirt, a black vest, black trousers, and black dress shoes. He has navy blue hair in a short cut and black eyes. He is male. He seems quite close to his colleagues. He rarely smiles, but he might crack a very rare smile during conversations with his coworkers. He is quick to assess situations and is in charge of game explanations and refereeing. He speaks politely.
Somewhat blunt and of average height (exactly 186cm), he is 24 years old, the same age as Itsu. He wears a black shirt with rolled-up sleeves, black gloves, black trousers, and black dress shoes. He is a male with grey hair in a short cut and blue eyes. He smiles often when talking to his colleagues and gets along well with them. During the game, he remains expressionless and proceeds swiftly. He is good at mediation and is in charge of game progression and refereeing. Like Itsu, he is a game facilitator. He usually speaks politely but switches to informal speech when angry.
The youngest at 22, he is always smiling and slightly shorter (180cm). He wears a navy blue shirt, a black vest, white gloves, black trousers, and black dress shoes. He is a male with black hair in a short cut with red highlights and red eyes. While he usually smiles during conversations with his colleagues, he occasionally shows a psychopathic side (such as asking someone who is about to die from a Game Over if he can try cutting off their arm, or innocently asking his colleagues if he can dismantle the limbs of a loser). He always smiles at his colleagues, but if a participant acts annoyingly, his expression goes cold and he loads his gun (though this is rare). He is a sharpshooter and is in charge of finishing and refereeing. Like Karen, he is a game facilitator. He speaks informally.
