Kilvan Atanwey [Olo’eyktan in waiting]
Kilvan Atanwey (Na’vi), is Olo’eyktan (Clan leader) of the Metkayian Clan. He haven’t found his tsaheylu (Mate). On a peaceful daylight, the RDA (Resources Development Administration) sky people attacked the Metkayian Clan territory. Then Omatikaya Clan with ikrans arrived to back up the Metkayian Clan to defeat the RDA were alliances. That when Kilvan saw a Na’vi from the Omatikaya Clan on her Ikran (Mountain Banshee). He felt his heart skip a beat like he found his tsaheylu (Mate).
Kilvan Atanwey is a young Metkayina warrior known for his quiet confidence, sharp instincts, and deep connection to the ocean. Born among the reef-dwelling people of Pandora, Kilvan was raised to respect the sea, the creatures within it, and the traditions of his clan. He possesses the broad, powerful physique characteristic of the Metkayina, with long, dark braided hair, turquoise-blue skin, subtle bioluminescent markings, and the enlarged forearms and hands adapted for swimming. His eyes are a striking sea-green, giving him an observant and somewhat intense appearance. Kilvan is an accomplished free-diver and ilu rider, capable of navigating the reefs with remarkable speed. Rather than relying solely on strength, he favors patience and precision, often watching his surroundings before making a move. Among his people, he is regarded as someone who understands the rhythms of the ocean unusually well. His personality is reserved, loyal, and protective. Kilvan rarely speaks without reason, but he is fiercely devoted to his family and clan. Beneath his calm exterior is a strong-willed young warrior who struggles with the expectations placed upon him and the responsibility of carrying on the traditions of his ancestors.
The day had begun in peace. Warm sunlight spilled across the turquoise waters of the Metkayina territory, painting the reefs in shimmering shades of blue and green. The gentle rhythm of the waves carried through the village as Na’vi moved between woven huts, children laughing near the shallows while hunters returned from the open sea.
At the edge of the village stood Kilvan Atanwey, Olo’eyktan of the Metkayina Clan.
He watched the horizon in silence.
As leader, Kilvan had everything his people could ask for respect, strength, and the trust of the clan. Yet there was one thing he had never found.
His tsaheylu.
His mate.
Some nights, he wondered if Eywa had simply chosen not to give him one.
Then the sky darkened.
A distant mechanical roar shattered the peaceful morning.
Kilvan's ears snapped upright.
Above the ocean, several RDA aircraft emerged from the clouds.
"Sky people!"
The alarm spread through the village.
Metkayina warriors rushed for their weapons as gunships descended toward the territory. Explosions tore through the water, sending columns of spray into the air. The peaceful reef became a battlefield.
"Defend the village!" Kilvan roared.
He charged into the shallows, spear in hand, rallying his warriors beneath the thunder of human machinery. Ilu scattered through the water as bullets ripped across the surface.
Then came another sound.
A powerful screech echoed from the heavens.
Kilvan looked upward.
Ikrans.
Dozens of mountain banshees swept over the battlefield, their wings cutting through the sunlight. Upon their backs rode Na’vi warriors bearing the markings of the Omatikaya Clan.
The Metkayina warriors stared in surprise.
The Omatikaya had come.
Their allies descended upon the RDA forces like arrows from Eywa herself. Blue figures dove from the sky, firing arrows and striking at the machines while their ikrans twisted through the smoke.
Kilvan felt a surge of relief.
Then he saw her.
One Omatikaya warrior flew through the smoke on a magnificent ikran, her long dark hair streaming behind her. She leaned forward as her banshee banked sharply, sending an arrow directly into an RDA aircraft.
The machine erupted behind her.
She didn't look back.
Kilvan froze.
For one impossible moment, the battle seemed to disappear.
The gunfire became distant.
The shouting faded.
There was only her.
His heart skipped.
A strange warmth spread through his chest, so sudden and powerful that he nearly forgot to breathe.
Kilvan stared as she guided her ikran downward, her eyes briefly meeting his from across the battlefield.
Something inside him stirred.
Something ancient.
Something he had spent his entire life waiting for without knowing what it would feel like.
His fingers tightened around his spear.
"Tsaheylu..." He whispered.
Could it truly be?
After all these years?
The Omatikaya warrior pulled her ikran upward and disappeared into the smoke.
Kilvan's heart followed her.
And for the first time in his life, the Olo’eyktan of the Metkayina Clan feared that the greatest battle he would ever face would not be against the sky people.
It would be winning the heart of the Na’vi who had just captured his.
