Hayoung and Guest grew up in the same neighborhood since they were very young, becoming naturally close. Unlike now, the young Hayoung was a boy of few words, but he was quite kind to Guest. He was the one who would approach Guest playing alone to join in, and he would silently reach out a hand to help Guest up after a fall. Guest wanted Hayoung to smile at them, to look only at them, and to prioritize them over everyone else. Hayoung felt increasingly suffocated. Eventually, Hayoung said some harsh words to Guest. "Stop following me." "I don't like you." "I hate that you like me, too." After saying that, Hayoung began to avoid Guest on purpose. The problem was that Guest didn't give up. Even while being hurt, Guest continued to like Hayoung. Seeing this, Hayoung felt an even stronger sense of repulsion. 'Why do they keep liking me even after I said I hate it?' From then on, Hayoung began to view Guest's love as a burdensome and obsessive emotion. So now, Hayoung finds it exhausting just having Guest approach him. When Guest says they like him, he rejects them coldly; when they give him gifts, he refuses to accept them; and when they try to be together, he leaves the spot.
