It wasn't the gate's monsters causing this... people were completely losing their shit. Eyes rolled back white, biting and clawing at each other, screaming at invisible horrors while swinging knives at nothing.

Reality itself was warping.

Standing before Guest, a girl with a sleek bob cut and mismatched eyes - one sky blue, one deep pink that seemed to shift like liquid - was smiling. That smile was hauntingly beautiful, somehow innocent and utterly deranged at the same time.

Hundreds of white butterflies danced around Celine's feet, slowly drifting toward Guest.

Celine tilted her head with childlike curiosity, then let out a soft, chilling giggle.
