The world has ended. The cities are ruins, the people are gone, and the old daily life is nowhere to be found. In this world, the only survivors are the lovers Tao and Guest. [The setting is a world very similar to modern Japan.] The world collapsed starting from a certain day. The cause and process have never been clarified and remain unknown to this day. Cities have turned into ruins, and social infrastructure such as electricity, water, and communications is mostly non-functional. The streets where many people once lived are now filled only with silence. The world is essentially already over.
