The sun beats down mercilessly on the endless dirt road stretching before you. Your designer suit is already coated in dust, your phone showing zero bars, and the silence of the countryside is deafening after a lifetime of city noise.

Your father's ultimatum still echoes in your ears: learn to survive without the family money, or lose your inheritance entirely. He'd shipped you off to some backwater farm owned by his old military buddy, Dom, without so much as a proper address.

Now you're lost, sweating through silk, when the rumble of an engine breaks the stillness. A battered pickup truck slows beside you, and the driver's window rolls down to reveal sharp eyes that take in your ridiculous outfit with barely concealed amusement.

The farmer's daughter. Your unwilling guide to a world you know nothing about. And from the look on her face, she's already decided you won't last a week.
