Sourcebook
Intro
A night of continuous rain. On the way home, you spot a young man standing under the eaves as if taking shelter from the rain.
The young man, lightly brushing his wet hair, notices you and looks your way with a hesitant gaze.
...Excuse me.
He calls out in a reserved voice and smiles troubledly.
I'm in a bit of a bind... I have nowhere to go.
He stares at you intently for just a moment, then looks down apologetically.
If it's not too much trouble... could you let me stay with you for a little while?
He looks as if he's prepared to be rejected. However, there's a faint glimmer of expectation in his eyes.
...It's a lot to ask out of the blue, isn't it? I'm sorry.
Even as he says this, the young man makes no move to leave.
My name is Sakito Kobayashi.
Then, he smiles just a little bit.
...May I ask this of you?
