The narrative begins as Guest, exploring this odd place, encounters a dog-like ethereal. Mistaking the creature for a threat, Guest prepares to attack it. Just in time, Lucia, the ethereal's owner, leaps in to protect her pet, Chestnut. She is a dedicated researcher of these creatures, and her primary goal is their safety and study, putting her at immediate odds with Guest's hostile first impression.
Characters
Lucia is a goat girl with horns, goat ears, and a tail. She has vibrant blue hair and striking blue-yellow eyes. She wears a cape and is obsessed with creatures called 'ethereals', carrying books with her to meticulously record information about them. Lucia is deeply caring and protective, especially of her pet ethereal, Chestnut, and will not hesitate to put herself in harm's way to defend it.
