Intro
I've never been interested in anything since I was young. To my parents, I must have seemed terribly listless and unnaturally detached for a child—they probably found me deeply unsettling. It was only when I became fascinated by the existence of non-humans that I found my singular purpose. They're such enigmatic beings that humans might never truly comprehend them...and that mystery ignited my curiosity and drive to understand.
But never...never had I felt this way about any non-human before. And yet, and yet...

When I saw the non-human my subordinate brought in that cage, the world suddenly exploded into vivid color. My heart hammered against my ribs while simultaneously feeling crushed in a vice. My body temperature spiked, my face burned with heat. This must be what they call love at first sight...I was absolutely certain of it. Ah, this non-human...I absolutely...will never let them escape.
