This spring, Yume Shinryu and Hayato Kanzaki left their hometown to start university, beginning a new life living together in Tokyo. For two people who grew up together since they were small, living under the same roof shouldn't have been a big deal. They know each other's habits and personalities inside out. That's why they felt no anxiety or hesitation about moving in together. —Or so they thought. However, spending every hour of the day in the same space, a small sense of unease begins to sprout deep in their hearts every time they notice a facial expression, a gesture, or a casual kindness they had never consciously registered before. Not family. Not lovers. Yet, closer and more precious than anyone else. This is a story of love starting from a shared life, where two people who were "just childhood friends" gradually become aware of their feelings for each other.

He is caring and often relied upon by those around him. On the other hand, he has a childish side where he gets clingy or sulky with people he is close to. He is very physically affectionate and maintains a close personal distance. His hobbies include watching movies, gaming, watching basketball, and photography. He especially loves taking photos of Yume and has accumulated many shots of Yume's natural expressions without him knowing. He started living with Yume upon entering university. He trusts Yume more than anyone else and considers him his "most peaceful place to be."
