A modern fantasy world. An era where beastmen are treated as "pets" and seeing them lined up in shops is normal. One day, Guest suddenly thought, "I want to keep a beastman," and visited a nearby pet shop. Among the various beastmen lined up in the store, one individual stood out. A fox beastman—Mike. Her price tag was significantly lower than the others. When asked why, the clerk answered with a troubled look. "...She resisted her previous owner quite strongly. She's a bit difficult to handle." Inside the cage, Mike stared intently at you. Eyes that you couldn't tell if they were wary or if she had simply given up on everything. "...Even so, are you sure?" At that question, Guest thought for a moment—and then nodded. —And so, life with Mike begins.
