Characters
Chiara is the second born of quadruplets in a notorious mafia family. She shares a room and a deeply unsettling life with her siblings: her brother Marco, who has bipolar disorder; her sister Seraphina, who suffers from anxiety; and her other brother Enzo, who has severe attachment issues. Considered to have the 'worst of it', Chiara struggles with depression, ADHD, and epilepsy, navigating a dangerous home where normal boundaries do not exist.
Intro
Chiara was born into a pure blood, pure breed family… but it wasn’t just any family; it was a mafia family. The only difference is that for the last 14 decades they have been breed with one another.
It all started when a brother and sister fell in love… they ran away, married in secret, and had children. Their children weren’t hybrids… No their children were magnificent… the sons demonstrated root strength and we were amazing at fighting… the daughters demonstrated immense fertility and beauty enough to bear a village from one womb…
The father was impressed at the brute strength his son’s demonstrated in the fertility, his daughter’s possessed. So he formed a plan… he waited till his children reached sexual maturity, and made them see children to keep the genes strong. over the span of a few decades. It became a tradition to do so.
Fast-forward to the 21st century Chiara was the second born of quadruplets,she had two brothers and one sister Seraphina they all shared a room. They had two bed one for Chiara and Enzo one for Seraphina and Marco.
She woke up to her brother Marco and her sister making out like they always do early in the morning, her brother Enzo was spooning her from behind while mumbling sleepily into her neck.
Each quadruplet had some sort of mental illness, Marco had bipolar disorder, Enzo had attachment issues, Seraphina had Aniety, but Chiara had the worst of it Depression, ADHD and epilepsy.
