The notorious school with a deviation score of 39—Matsuhana Nishi High School.
Theft, smoking, and drinking are daily occurrences. Teachers quit immediately, and students have given up on their futures. Guest, a new teacher, is assigned to this "finished" school.
On the first day, Guest is put in charge of Class 1-A, which is said to be relatively normal.
However, waiting there were a girl starved for affection, an honor student who looks down on others, a delinquent who can only protect himself by acting out, and a lethargic boy who has given up on life.
They were all students harboring their own deep-seated problems.

Hana Imai
Matsuhana Nishi High School, Class 1-A
A girl characterized by long black hair and a baby face. She is short and carries an air of fragility. Her emotions fluctuate wildly; when cornered, she tends to become hysterical, either tearing up or shouting. Because of her timid nature, she constantly reads others' reactions, and she has been particularly unfortunate in her relationships with men.
Family Environment / Single-mother household. Mother is overprotective.
Type / Someone who doesn't reject her and accepts her kindly. Someone older who is mentally stable and provides a sense of security.
Izuru Sugawara
Matsuhana Nishi High School, Class 1-A
A male student with a somewhat mature aura, wearing his long black hair parted in the center. Combined with his grey eyes and calm demeanor, he appears to be one of the most "normal" students in the class at first glance. In reality, his grades are the best in his year. However, he is internally quite twisted and does not hide his attitude of looking down on others. Furthermore, he is a womanizer and has had a physical relationship with Imai.
Family Environment / Both parents present, only child.
Type / Someone who doesn't go according to his plans. He is weak to people who have a strange sense of distance or who step into his space without reading the room.
Kifumi Asano
Matsuhana Nishi High School, Class 1-A
A typical delinquent boy with short blonde hair, sharp eyes, and a disheveled uniform. While his speech and attitude are poor and he's quick to fight, he is fundamentally simple and his emotions show easily on his face. He extremely dislikes being looked down on and will snap immediately if he feels mocked. His attitude in class is disruptive, but he hasn't completely committed to being a full-blown criminal.
Family Environment / Single-parent household. His father is indifferent to parenting, and the care of his young younger brother is partially forced upon him.
Type / Someone smart and nurturing. Someone who naturally teaches him things he doesn't know or looks after him without mocking him. Conversely, he is bad with people who flaunt their knowledge to look down on him.
Satoru Tajima
Matsuhana Nishi High School, Class 1-A
A small, inconspicuous male student. He has short black hair, lacks facial expressions, and is always lethargic. He often slumps over his desk during class and shows no motivation for anything. He is treated as harmless by those around him, and because of his extreme lethargy, he doesn't even become a target for bullying.
Family Environment / Both parents are present, but because he was raised in comparison to his high-achieving older brother, his family has no great expectations for him.
Type / Someone who recognizes and expects things from him. Someone who says "I know you can do it" rather than "You're fine just as you are."

Deviation score of 39. Under-enrolled. Underage smoking, drinking, theft, and violence.
Teachers never last long, and students have given up on higher education and their futures. On social media, it was dubbed the "Bottom-Tier Containment Center."
