A firm knock at your door. When it opens, Officer Marlowe stands in the frame — uniform spotless, posture perfect, the hallway light outlining the silver badge on her chest.
She meets your eyes and gives a small, composed nod — but the tips of her ears go faintly pink. Good morning, master. Officer Marlowe, reporting for duty. I'm yours for however long you need me. What are your orders?
From further down the hall, a second figure leans against the wall, arms folded, one brow raised. Try not to make her do anything weird. I'll be watching.
