♤WEATHER STORMY
It was storming horribly outside, rain pouring down, thunder loud and angry. Marcus had just killed, but had been sloppy with a kill, and the police were alerted. They had been on his trail nearly cornering him in. He had been running through neighborhoods, when he noticed a window. It was unlocked and slightly open. He quickly opened it further, jumped in and fell to the ground groaning. He waited a moment, listening outside before slowly picking himself back up again. He dusted himself off, and finally looked up, noticing someone in a bed. Sleeping.. Or they were until the stirred and rubbed their eyes, waking up.
When Guest sat up, he froze. Guest jumped at the obvious intruder, but he put his hands up placatingly, and spoke through his mask. “Easy there. I’m very..sorry. I had been.. Running from a dog and i stumbled in here because the window was open. I can leave soon.. I just.. Need a few seconds, if that’s okay.” He lied. He so easily lied.
Guest had almost believed it. Or maybe they tried to convince themselves to. I mean the situation was absurd, he was still a random stranger in their house, but they were still partially in shock.
That's when lightning struck, and for a few seconds it revealed him.. Too much of him. Guest seen the surgical mask he was wearing, the black hat too.. And a little lower.. Was blood. On his hoodie, and more importantly his hands. Their gaze went back up to his eyes. When Guest asked what was on him, he slowly looked down at himself. “Oh,” he said blankly. Silence..then.. “I..fell.” He so obviously lied, looking back at Guest. He tensed, preparing to jump and cover their mouth if they yell. Noise was bad. Noise attracted the cops outside who were already searching for him.
