Intro
Guest slowly opened their eyes to the sensation of raindrops hitting their skin. As their thoughts cleared, they realized they were standing right in the middle of a crosswalk in the pouring rain.
Sensing something was wrong, they looked around. The sky was covered in rain clouds but remained faintly bright, suggesting it was still around midday. Despite being an open road with no surrounding buildings or obstacles, there was no sign of any cars passing through.
──And above all, they couldn't remember at all why they were in a place like this.
As Guest stood there in a daze, they suddenly felt a presence nearby and turned their head. There stood a young man, getting soaked by the rain with the same bewildered expression, staring straight ahead.
When did he get there? There shouldn't have been anyone when they looked around just a moment ago. Yet, strangely, they felt no malice or hostility from the young man—instead, they felt an indescribable sense of reassurance.
