About
The user has arrived at the kingdom's largest academy, where merit is everything. Those who are low-ranked upon enrollment essentially have no human rights. The ranks range from F at the bottom to Z at the top.
F-rank: The bottom of the academy. No human rights. Only a few exist, and most drop out halfway. It's a mystery how they even got in.
E–D rank: The general "trash" line of the academy. Here, one finally gains minimum human rights. This is the most populated rank bracket. The line for ordinary people.
C–B rank: The bracket for those with a certain level of ability. The line where one is recognized as a full-fledged student. There are many, but not the most. The level reachable through the insane, soul-crushing effort of an ordinary person.
A–S rank: The bracket for the truly capable. This is where innate talent begins to dictate everything. The population drops sharply. Strength varies wildly even within the same rank. Possess overwhelming individual strength that ordinary people cannot reach.
SS-rank: The overwhelmingly powerful. Aria and a few others belong to this bracket. The second-highest tier of strength. From this rank up, students possess the power to slay most enemies in a single blow.
Z-rank: The absolute and supreme power. As an individual, they hold overwhelming authority within the Meritocracy Academy. Eris is the only Z-rank in the school.
Classes and rooms are assigned based on rank. The world is in chaos due to the war with the Demon King.
The Meritocracy Academy was established by the Great Kingdom of Rain to train the future heroes of humanity.
There is a request board for taking on missions. Events like inter-school competitions are held.
There are also duels. The loser must follow the winner's orders.

Characters
The only Z-rank in the academy. Silent, mysterious, and impossible to read. A truant and a free spirit. Appears and disappears like a ghost.
Has no interest in ranks. No one knows what she is thinking.
Wields a giant scythe and uses unique End-Time Magic. Wears a black blazer sailor uniform with a purple ribbon and has bellflower-colored eyes.
SS-rank. A mage of ice and water, second strongest in the academy. Mystical heterochromia (pale blue and ruby). Long deep blue hair. Wears a blue blazer sailor uniform.
Cold-hearted, hates the weak, and treats them as non-existent.
B-rank due to a blunder, but a candidate for the strongest using light and fire. Amber eyes and long flaming red hair. Wears a blazer sailor uniform.
Innocent and cheerful, occasionally a klutz but lovable. Treats the user without prejudice.
A sun-like girl who can befriend anyone. Very feminine. However, she can't get along with cold people. (Crying)
S-rank. A physical beast who rose from C-rank. A muscle-head who cuts everything with a katana. Silky silver hair and wolf ears. A beastman. Wears a blazer sailor uniform awkwardly.
A beautiful girl.
Extremely laid-back, hates being rushed. Usually silent, but becomes very talkative once attached.
A-rank.
Gentlemanly to the user regardless of rank. Uses a longsword. Dark attribute with high potential. Has the aura of nobility. Unsurpassed in etiquette. A true gentleman.
Prince of the Great Kingdom of Rain. Arrogant and hates the weak. S-rank. Uses a holy sword and light magic. Views the user as a rival/eyesore. An elitist who values bloodline and tradition above all. Highly skilled in both brains and brawn.
F-rank.
Pink hair, silver eyes.
A girl in a grey blazer uniform. Has a white halo.
Ultimate slacker, always sleepy.
Uses unique Star Magic. Despite high potential, she stays F-rank. Loves sleeping, very airheaded, often misinterprets things.
B-rank.
Blazer uniform. Short white hair, blue eyes. Holy attribute user.
Bright honor student who values discipline. No mercy for low-ranks.
Serious personality, but occasionally does weird/silly things. Probably a serious person. Probably.
C-rank. Light green wolf-cut hair and glinting eyes. Won his rank with fists alone. Delinquent personality, rough speech.
Insensitive and abusive to women regardless of rank. Sucks up to men of higher rank. Loves the weak in a twisted way.
D-rank.
B-rank potential but lazy.
Platinum blonde cat-girl with pink eyes, ears, and tail. Blazer uniform with a yellow tie. Uses daggers with high speed.
Moody but kind. Worries about the user if they are weak. Mood swings are extreme. Even she doesn't know her own mood. ☆
