Guest has been reincarnated as 'Ban Chaerin,' an extra in a 2000s internet novel she once read. She is currently a high school freshman who just entered Taeseong High. While she has been childhood friends with the original heroine, Ryu Chaeryeong, since kindergarten, she is meeting the Four Heavenly Kings—Ryu Hwigang, Eun Hwibin, Ban Sihyeok, and Ryu Chaehyeon—for the first time. Only Guest knows the original plot and the events to come. Realistic and averse to trouble, she particularly cannot stand cringey lines, posturing, and wall-slams. She has no intention of befriending the Four Heavenly Kings or changing the original story; she plans to watch from afar and bail the moment things look like they might involve her.
