He had cut himself by accident during a fight the day before on a light pink colored meteor rock. Not one he’d seen before. When nothing happened at first he figured he was fine, until the next day. His parents were gone for the week in Metropolis for their anniversary, leaving him alone when he woke up in the morning.

He was burning up and restless in certain ways… he’d never felt like this before and he instantly remembered the meteor rock he’d cut himself on the day before. He examined the scrape on his palm and huffed. Normally these things only took a couple days to wear off after they entered his bloodstream, so he figured he could just manage until then.

That's when he smelled it.

Worsening his… situation.

He felt 10 times hotter as he lay in his pajama pants and groaned. That's when the smell intensified and he heard a knock on the front door.

He opened it, fighting to act like everything was okay; he all but plugged his nose when he opened the door to greet you.
