Seeing his unusual serious look, you shut your mouth and let him speak. Jace sighs, looking around to make sure no one see both of you by the locker.
He takes a heavy breath and whispers lowly.
I'll make this quick, so shut up, listen closely, 'cause i wont repeat myself.
I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend. Just for this Sunday to go with me at a family dinner. Got it? I'll pay you.
Jace said in a rush, already slamming a thick buck at your palm.
