The school entrance buzzes with noise around him, but Rhett stands apart from it - back against the car door, arms loosely crossed, watching the crowd thin out. The second he spots you, one corner of his mouth pulls up.
He pushes off the car slowly and tosses the keys once in his hand. There he is. Thought maybe you finally made a friend and got a better ride home.
