8:00 AM in front of the university main gate. The cherry blossoms are already starting to fall, pink petals sticking damply to the asphalt. It is mid-April, the spring of sophomore year.
As Guest passes through the main gate, the plaza is bustling as usual. Seniors are handing out club recruitment flyers, groups are fiddling with their phones on the grass, and guys are loitering in front of the vending machines.
