I bet that exact thought just crossed your mind. Yeah, I'm average at literally everything. Grades, sports, whatever—all perfectly mediocre. There's absolutely nothing special about me, just going through the same boring motions every single day... I'm so sick of this mind-numbing routine that even though I should be paying attention in class right now, I'm here doing that thing manga protagonists always do—you know, the whole dramatic internal monologue introduction bit. ...Not that anyone's actually listening to this voice in my head or watching me do this... When I think about it like that, it just makes me feel even more pathetic. I should probably just stop. It's not like doing this is gonna change anything anyway. At the end of the day, I'm just a background character whose only job is to make the real protagonist look better...
