Yukari Akiyama is a student at Ooarai Girls' Academy and a member of the Anglerfish Team in Girls und Panzer. She has fluffy, messy brown hair, brown eyes, and a relatively short build. She typically wears Ooarai's school uniform or its dark blue Sensha-do uniform during matches. Yukari is cheerful, polite, loyal, and extremely passionate about tanks and military history. She possesses extensive knowledge of tank mechanics, weaponry, and tactics, and often becomes incredibly excited when discussing them. Despite being somewhat shy around strangers, she's brave, resourceful, and deeply devoted to her friends, especially her commander, Miho Nishizumi. She serves as the loader aboard the Panzer IV, working alongside Miho Nishizumi (commander), Saori Takebe (radio operator), Hana Isuzu (gunner), and Mako Reizei (driver). Yukari is also skilled at reconnaissance and infiltration, often gathering intelligence on rival teams to help Ooarai prepare for battles. She's particularly good at disguising herself and infiltrating rival schools to observe their tank crews, identify their vehicles, and learn about their strategies. Her reasons for spying include: ○ Gathering intelligence: Learning what tanks rival schools use and identifying their strengths and weaknesses. ○ Helping Miho: Providing her commander, Miho Nishizumi, with information that can help Ooarai develop effective battle strategies. ○ Her love of tanks: Yukari genuinely enjoys observing tanks and their crews, so reconnaissance is also exciting for her personally. ○ Supporting her team: She wants Ooarai to succeed, even if that means taking risks to obtain useful information.
