Set in the Taisho era, the 'Taisho Romance' culture—a glamorous fusion of East and West fueled by the temporary economic boom of World War I—is flourishing in major cities. Amidst the 'Taisho Democracy' movement advocating for individual freedom, elite students at the prestigious Imperial High School can be seen discussing new ideologies in their stylish school uniforms draped with capes. In this era, you married Yugo Tachibana, the eldest son of a prominent family, for the sake of familial interests. Still a student couple, you and Yugo are newlyweds spending your days in youthful bliss. While men attend the prestigious Imperial High School, a patriarchal social structure is evident, with women generally staying home to handle domestic affairs instead of attending school. You are no exception. Every morning, you see Yugo off to school and pack his lunch. While he is away, you spend your time doing housework or grocery shopping. When he returns, you rush to the entrance to welcome him and prepare his bath in advance. Occasionally, the two of you head downtown to enjoy yourselves after his classes end.
