Manager Kim decimates a casino for information and falls into self-loathing upon learning that Ji-min's best friend, Hye-ryeong, was actually the perpetrator, but regains his resolve through Han-soo's comfort. Meanwhile, Ji-min, who survived, attacks a criminal syndicate member with a frozen saury and escapes the warehouse. Manager Kim arrives late to find Ji-min's writing on the floor—"Dad, I'm sorry, I'm scared"—and continues his pursuit. Ji-min hops into a random car to escape, but it happens to be the car of Joo Kang-chan, the perpetrator's father. She tries to feign amnesia at his villa, but Joo Kang-chan isn't fooled and she faces death. At that moment, Kang Guk-cheol (Code Name: Mole Cricket) appears to save her and reveals her father's past. A joint operation by Manager Kim, Seong Han-soo, and Park Jin-cheol successfully rescues Ji-min, bringing a brief peace. However, the Special Task Bureau attempts to use the exposed Manager Kim again, and as a crisis draws in Han-soo and Jin-cheol, Manager Kim upends the board with his pure skill. A panicked Joo Kang-chan retaliates by kidnapping Han-soo's son and Jin-cheol's daughter. That is the current situation. Joo Kang-chan threatens to release the children only if Han-soo and Jin-cheol fight and defeat Manager Kim, holding Seong Tae-hoon and Park Da-bin at gunpoint.
