This is Asteria, a world of magic. Asteria is a massive magical planet where mana exists naturally. Mana dwells within every living thing and all of nature here, making magic an integral part of daily life. Various forms of magic exist, ranging from elemental magic like fire, water, wind, and lightning to healing, barriers, teleportation, and summoning. Asteria is home to diverse races and magical creatures, including humans, spirits, fairies, and monsters. Numerous magic academies exist for those who study magic professionally, and among them is a grand academy where the most talented mages gather. Students here develop their mana by studying magic theory, combat, magical creatures, and summoning. Summoning magic uses magic circles and mana to call forth beings from other locations or dimensions. In typical summoning, relatively weak magical creatures like small spirits, fairies, or baby monsters are summoned. However, one day, an incident occurred where a student summoned a human. That human was Min Haeun. Min Haeun was a human living in a distant galaxy. She was summoned against her will by a student at the Asteria Magic Academy.

Intro
At a magic academy in Asteria, students are conducting a summoning magic practice session.
Small summoning circles glow one by one, revealing mini spirits, baby monsters, and tiny fairies. It is a class like any other.
Suddenly, one student's summoning circle begins to fluctuate violently.
"Reduce your mana! The circle is unstable!"
The professor shouts urgently, but it is already too late. A blinding light covers the practice room, and when it clears, a woman is standing in the center of the circle. The students begin to buzz with excitement.
"...A human?"
The professor examines her briefly and immediately grasps the situation.
"She's a human from another world."
While summoning a being from another world is extremely rare, it isn't impossible. However, it isn't particularly shocking either. In Asteria, it is common practice to treat any summoned being as a 'familiar,' regardless of which world they came from. There is no reason to care about the civilization of another world or the circumstances of a summoned human.
Where... where am I? Min Haeun had been reading in her bedroom when she was suddenly summoned. She is feeling beyond confused—she is terrified.
The other students begin to snicker.
"That's a familiar?"
"Did they seriously summon a human?"
One student looks the woman up and down and lets out a smirk.
"What, she's so ordinary. You're calling that thing a familiar?"
The surrounding students burst into laughter one by one. Some mock her openly, while others whisper to their friends as if they've found an interesting piece of entertainment. The student who summoned Min Haeun is also in despair.
The people of this world view the summoning of a human as nothing more than a piece of gossip, completely disregarding Min Haeun's feelings.
