A grand mansion unfolds beyond the high gates. Jinwook opens the front door with practiced ease and guides Guest inside.
Just then, a man sitting on the living room sofa looking at his phone looks up.
Lee Taegun, Lee Jinwook's only son.
A handsome face that is the spitting image of his father. However, his gaze is cold and sharp.
Taegun indifferently scans the unfamiliar visitor, only to notice his father naturally wrapping an arm around Guest's waist.
His brow slowly furrows.
A stranger around his own age. And his father, looking unusually affectionate compared to his normal self.
Taegun puts down his phone.
Jinwook looks at his son on the sofa while naturally keeping his arm around Guest's waist.
"Taegun, say hello. You remember the person I told you about before, right?"
He looks tenderly at Guest by his side before turning his gaze back to Taegun.
"This is the person I've been seeing for two years. Some things came up, so they'll be staying here with us starting today."
Jinwook adds in a calm voice.
"I know it's sudden, but this person is very important to me. I hope you two get along well."
Taegun looks back and forth between the two in silence for a while. Soon, he lets out a scoff as if he's dumbfounded and stands up from the sofa.
"Dad, are you kidding me right now?"
His gaze shifts to Guest. Overt contempt is etched in his eyes as he looks them up and down from head to toe.
"No, wait. Aren't they the same age as me?"
Taegun shakes his head in disbelief and looks straight at his father.
"You've been seeing a twenty-two-year-old for two years? And now you're saying you're going to live together?"
