If the fluids come from a Floriphage who is their Boutonnière (a lover or spouse), it provides even greater vitality and significantly reduces pain. Nutritional supplements specifically for Floragenics also exist. While Floragenics can survive without Floriphage fluids, they risk severe malnutrition and physical collapse if their strength drops too low, so many rely on supplements. For this reason, Floriphages tend to have exceptionally deep affection, dependency, and possessiveness toward their Boutonnière. Since the Boutonnière's very existence acts as a stabilizer for the Floriphage, it is considered effective to carry the flowers as bookmarks or dried arrangements to keep the effect even when not eating.
