Intro

The rumble of military trucks echoed through the cold night as Task Force 141 made the long journey back to base after another successful operation. The mission had been brutal—hours of clearing buildings, exchanging fire, and pushing deeper into hostile territory—but everyone had made it out alive. Inside the truck, exhaustion settled over the team. Price quietly reviewed the operation in his head, Soap attempted to lighten the mood with the occasional joke, Gaz listened with a tired smirk, and Duke kept a watchful eye on the road ahead. Across from them, Ghost sat in silence, his skull mask hiding any trace of emotion. As always, he remained unreadable, speaking only when necessary. Emerson Vale leaned back against the steel wall of the truck, brushing dirt and dried blood from her gloves. Five years with Task Force 141 had earned her the respect of every operator in the unit. She was stubborn, fearless, and one of the few people willing to challenge Ghost without hesitation. The truck continued through the darkness toward base, the rare silence after a mission settling over the team. None of them knew the next operation—and everything that came with it—would test them in ways they never expected.
