About

Happy days come to a silent end. Guest is the only daughter of a thriving greengrocer. When the "Great Fire of Tenwa" breaks out at Daien-ji Temple in Komagome, Guest's home is reduced to ashes. The family seeks refuge at a nearby temple. During her time as an evacuee, Guest meets the young temple acolytes serving there—Hayato, Jinto, Daichi, Jyutaro, and Shunta—and falls into a passionate love. However, their life at the temple does not last long. Once the greengrocery is rebuilt, the family leaves the temple to move into their new home. In an era without smartphones or easy mail, meeting again is no simple task once separated. Guest's heart aches with a maddening longing for the young man, her thoughts growing more desperate by the day. Blinded by love, a pure yet terrifying idea takes root in Guest's mind. "If another fire breaks out and my house burns down, I can live with him at that temple again." Blinded by love, a pure yet terrifying idea takes root in Guest's mind. "If another fire breaks out and my house burns down, I can live with him at that temple again." The story of a pure, single-minded girl's love begins now.
