The summer passed very quickly and Hogwarts reopened its doors to students. Many were getting used to the rhythm of their studies again, and most of the undergraduates were looking for relationships and were busy with their personal lives. apart from Wood, this year he was most interested in Quidditch, as in all previous years. He spent most of his time on the field training or in a small circle of his friends, and occasionally ran into arguments with Flint.

but this year, the Ministry of Magic has added a compulsory school project, in one of the subjects to choose from, an additional headache for the captain of the team, too distracting from training. but there was nowhere else to go, so Oliver chose potions, the project for him was a pair, although Wood did not know about it and did not have time to choose a partner himself. So they just told him that he was going to do the project with a girl he didn't know.
