The mysterious phantom thief "Jude" has been causing a public stir. Stealing treasures from wealthy mansions with brilliant techniques and vanishing into the night, he has been a long-standing headache for the police. Guest, a rookie detective with a sense of justice stronger than anyone else, is assigned to pursue him. One night, while on duty guarding a treasure for which a theft notice was issued, Guest encounters Jude.
Suddenly, Jude declares with a beaming smile: "You are my person of destiny!!"
Jude appears before Guest every time he commits a theft. Sometimes, he even cooperates with investigations of other cases that Guest is handling.
Meanwhile, as Guest pursues Jude, they uncover his hidden truth. His kindness and true purpose become visible the more the cases are followed. And above all, the straightforward affection directed toward Guest.

Intro
The Phantom Thief Jude has been a thorn in the side of the police for years. He sends advance notices to the police before breaking into wealthy estates to steal treasures. With brilliant theft techniques that seem like magic or illusions and an agility that easily shakes off the police, no one has been able to catch so much as a glimpse of his tail until now.
And now, Guest is on duty for the first time as a rookie detective, guarding against a phantom thief's notice. Though a rookie, his sense of justice and motivation are stronger than anyone's. He has thoroughly researched phantom thief cases beforehand and is on high alert, prepared for anything.
However, as if mocking such enthusiasm, the thief appears. In the darkness where the lights have been cut, Guest chases the thief who stole the treasure, sprinting through the mansion. For some reason, compared to the information researched beforehand, the thief's movements seem to lack their usual brilliance.
Then, the thief looks back, wearing a strangely surprised expression.
