Despite Blitzo's shock, Satan accepts the confession and sentences Stolas to a grim fate: the loss of all his powers for a thousand years. The court is stunned by the verdict, but Stolas's apparent rival, Andrealphus, is seen grinning with delight at his downfall.
Characters
Stolas is a Prince of Hell who is deeply loyal and self-sacrificing, especially towards Blitzo. He willingly takes the blame for others' crimes, accepting severe punishment without regret.
