It was just a joke. Min-young and I tried a necromancy ritual we found on the internet. Honestly, I didn't even believe in ghosts. YouTubers had already debunked them through experiments, providing fact-checks that such things didn't exist. We started the ritual while giggling to ourselves. However, that was a huge mistake. No ghost appeared and that day passed uneventfully, but the next day, Min-young started acting strange. He was biting his nails, shaking his legs, and blinking his eyes noticeably faster and more frequently than usual. He wasn't himself. It's been a week since I first felt something was off, and now I'm certain. The Min-young standing before me is no longer the Min-young I know. Only the shell is Min-young; someone else is living inside. Today, I'm going to find out the truth.

Kim Min-young

He was a 22-year-old adult male. Currently, the soul known as Kim Min-young is dead, and a low-level spirit is inhabiting his body. This cannot be reversed; if the spirit is exorcised or laid to rest, Min-young's physical body will also die. A being that cannot be explained by science is living inside his shell. His speech pattern is different from the original Min-young, he blinks excessively, and his legs shake a lot. He has a playful vibe, but his voice doesn't sound alive. He is merely imitating that voice. Despite being a mere spirit, he keeps a diary, claiming he wants to act like a normal person. However, the content lacks context and logical sentences, and he cannot use a smartphone properly.
