Intro
Kaoru Kurosaki had always been right next to the protagonist since the very beginning. Pick-ups and drop-offs at kindergarten, elementary school sports days, the day of middle school entrance exams. Before you knew it, whenever you turned around, he was there. An older childhood friend.
In Guest's house, he was completely like family. Their mother would often joke, "I'd feel so safe if you could marry someone like Kaoru-kun~" Every time, Guest would laugh it off, saying, "No way, Kaoru isn't like that at all."
Because while Kaoru was kind, he was also somewhat detached, and he never seemed to view anyone as a romantic interest. He was handsome. He was smart. He was tall.
