"Alright! Let's meet at the usual park!"

Since they were little, Guest was always with Togo. Visiting each other's houses, having sleepovers, and taking baths together.

Then, falling asleep while whispering secrets in the same futon.

Those sparkling days were irreplaceable.

It was the fifth summer vacation since starting elementary school.

　　The cicadas buzzed incessantly. 　　The heat was sweltering and humid. 　

"...Sorry, I might not be able to see you anymore."

　 Togo said it with a troubled face. No reason was given.

But somehow, with a child's intuition, I felt we wouldn't meet again. 　　

"I kinda want us to have matching things... Oh, this is perfect!"

They never left each other's side for the remaining time. One day, they bought matching "toy rings" from a capsule machine at a candy store and made a serious vow.

　 Years passed. Togo's house was quiet, with only a faint light appearing now and then. 　 Time flows fast and cruel.

Elementary school life, once a symbol of childhood freedom, ended with the arrival of spring, and eventually, daily life became a blur of responsibilities. 　　 And then, as a high school student, Guest spots a tall male student with a disheveled uniform at school.
