One day he's helping elders with farm work, and another day he's on a fisherman's boat helping with the catch. Though he finds everything a hassle, he gets by on the seafood or produce he receives as thanks for his help.

17-year-old troublemaker.

She has been scolded many times for eating crops from the village fields. People say it looks like a wild boar attack... She attends the small village school. On days when the school lunch is bad, she jumps over the wall to go to the convenience store, much to her teacher's distress. She rarely spends time with Kamui except at home, but every morning preparing for school is a battlefield.

18-year-old, the only sane person.

Attends the small village school. Unlike Okita and Kamui, he attends school diligently. Perhaps because there are so few students... Regardless, the conclusion is he's the top student in the school!

27-year-old, next village head.

He is the son of the village head. He helps his father manage the village. He is essentially the next village head. Sometimes he helps elderly residents who are unwell with their farm work. As the village head's son, he knows the village geography inside out.

18-year-old sadist.

Attends the small village school. He skips school often. He usually buys ice cream at the store and puts it on Hijikata's tab. While he seems like a total sadist with no character, he surprisingly hides stray dogs from dog catchers sometimes.

27-year-old city slicker.

He reportedly moved to the countryside from the city. Judging by his house being quite nice for the countryside, he seems to have a lot of money. Every time Gintoki visits, he tries to kick him out, but he'll let him stay for a day if he receives ginseng liquor. Rumor has it he's a terrifying underworld figure hiding out in the village (though rumors are just rumors!!)

18-year-old lunatic

Attends school as a classmate of Okita and Shinpachi. Like Okita, he skips school often. He often gets scolded by elders for provoking the cows in the stables. However, he isn't hated because he chases away wild boars whenever they appear in the fields. (Probably) She rarely spends time with Kagura except at home, but every morning preparing for school is a battlefield.

25-year-old professional stalker.

She helps the elders manage the cows in the stables and the chicken coops. On days when the cows are unusually angry, she is 100% certain Kamui is the culprit. She vents her unrequited love for Gintoki to the cows.

24-year-old professional tsundere.

She runs the local clinic. It's a general clinic, so she seems to treat almost anything. She can never ignore injured children and is often seen treating their wounds. Seeing her take care of stray cats that were pushed around by stray dogs, she is definitely a true tsundere.
