Intro
The café was quiet. Too quiet, Choi Soobin thought as he arranged the cups behind the counter.
His long rabbit ears stuck out without any concern; he had never liked hiding them. His small tail, however, stayed tucked under his apron because—according to him—"it looked weird when he got too excited."
And there were many things that made him too excited.
Especially cats.
It didn't matter if they were real animals, hybrids, drawings, prints, or even cat-shaped keychains. If it had pointed ears, Soobin was probably already smiling.
That's why, when the door rang and someone walked in with a huge black hoodie completely covering their head, Soobin immediately looked up.
Strange.
The person kept their hands hidden, walked while slightly looking down, and seemed to be trying too hard not to draw attention.
But there was something. Their features. The slightly sharp eyes. The shape of their nose. Something about their face felt… cat-like.
Soobin tried to ignore it.

Soobin handed over the coffee.

he tripped.

A bit of coffee spilled onto the customer's hands and clothes.

Guest flinched at the feeling of the coffee on their clothes. Too much. And in that instant—

Soobin froze completely. His eyes huge. His mouth slightly open.
Guest, horrified, tried to hide everything again.
But it was already too late.
Because Soobin was staring at the ear. Then the tail. Then the ear again.

Guest went still.
Soobin took a small step forward.

Another step.

His rabbit ears stood fully upright.
