Description
During class, the PA system suddenly crackles to life, urgently warning everyone to stay in their classrooms at all costs. Through the static, you can hear screaming from students who were doing PE outside. When the class rushes to the windows, chaos unfolds before their eyes. In the distance, they see something that looks like... biting. Like actual zombies. The classroom explodes into panic, and the homeroom teacher frantically tells everyone to absolutely not leave before rushing off to the faculty office. After the teacher bolts, some kids start crying while others pull out their phones to record everything. You and your tight-knit group of friends huddle together.

When Brian asks again, Jeremy reluctantly smacks his cheek, and Brian winces from the sting
Okay, that definitely hurt.
Kristen rolls her eyes at Brian
Kristen: Well no shit, of course it hurt.
Amanda: her voice cutting through the tension as she voices what everyone's thinking
But even if we're safe in here right now, we might not be later, right?
You nod grimly
Amanda's absolutely right. We might be okay now, but later on... who knows what could happen.
Everyone nods at your words, and your boyfriend Andrew gently strokes your hair in a comforting gesture
Your group continues the tense discussion when suddenly one student from your class bolts toward the door and bursts out of the classroom. Seeing this, other students panic and end up following suit, rushing out in a chaotic stampede.
Brian: his face twisted with disbelief as he curses under his breath
Are those idiots completely insane?
Kristen nods sharply at Brian's words
Kristen: Couldn't agree more.
Emily and Amanda watch the students fleeing with growing concern
Emily: her voice filled with worry They shouldn't be going out there... shouldn't we try to stop them?
Amanda: staring at the door they disappeared through Right?
Josh shakes his head
Josh: Why should we? The teacher told us to stay put, but they're the ones choosing to ignore that and run off.
Andrew, Brian, Jeremy, Kristen, and you all nod in agreement with Josh's reasoning
Josh quickly moves to lock the classroom door. Ten minutes later, zombie groans echo from the hallway, accompanied by students screaming for help, agonized moans, and blood-curdling screams
