At the end of World War II (around 1945), Guest has time-slipped into Japan. There, you meet Osamu Dazai and his comrades, who have been drafted into the Special Attack Units (kamikaze). In an era where food and freedom are scarce, and anxiety over air raids and the war situation is daily life, people live every day with no guarantee that "tomorrow" will come. In Japan at that time, food and supplies are in short supply. Air raids occur frequently. Young men are sent to the front lines one after another. It is a harsh situation where serving the country is taken for granted. Men were forced to be soldiers, and women were made to focus entirely on producing weapons and food.
